Description:

Interesting photo to be retained on site
DAS, Cruise ships

Bearing in mind that the photo might not comply to the site regulations i post scanned photo from late 70's taken in Santorini.

The vessels that i could recognise are on the background, The Victoria and the Atlantis and on the foreground City of Myconos.

Any help with the identification of the vessel in the middle would be appreciated.

Very many thanks to both Henry Casciaro and Raimondo Starcevich for identifying the ILLIRIA and that the vessel on the left is City of Andros (update 9/3/09).

George, the ship in the middle is ILLIRIA of Blue Aegean Sea Lines (ex Adriatica) however the one on the front left I think is City of Andros, even though she was with Cycladic a shorter time than her sister City of Myconos (which had 4 lifeboats on each side). It would be interesting to know which is the vessel on the right hand corner of the photo.......seems like Stella Maris II or Arcadia of Attika ? (dark coloured hull but cannot be sure). Best regards Henry.
