This is so sad to see... As a ship-lover, fire on board is one of the worst possible scenarios I can think of, and the list here does not look well either! Hopefully they can prevent her from tilting and sinking, and get her back in service soon.

My deepest thoughts goes to those who lost their lives in the fire, and to those who suffered severe injuries - not to mention their families!

And by the way, Aage - thanks for posting these pictures!

Let's hope they will get her fixed. Must be a lot of damage to parts inside and also all of the AC System. On the Live Stream there was a bit of sucess in getting her stabilized. So that's good after all...

Let's hope that the ship doesn't sink - but I think that it will not, because a team will install new pumps in the ship. But according to Hurtigruten MS Nordlys is out of order (out of the schedule) until mid of October 2011, so let's pray that there are no more damages!!

Oh dear, two people (probably) dead as well. Not good. Is the ship a Total Loss???
