Sorry Your right , I was usually well sloshed by the time the aquivit came out !

Saturday lunch on one these ships when they were full Danish Crew was one of the highlights of my shipping career.

Tomas, I have noticed the cars too, and I was wondering, reefer and old cars ? Is this usual ? Never seen such before, thinking of old cars going South makes me always think of the ugly yellow/white Grimaldi ro-ro's.

"Reefer Special" - Chris ! You always learn something new here, it seems :-) Here some more info on what happened. Hope they can fix it soon and continue their voyage without more incidents. http://www.shipwrecklog.com/log/2012/07/baltic-stream/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=baltic-stream

Hi Chris - as I recall it, the Lauritzen drink "Reefer Special" was actually half and half, Canadian Club Whisky and Vermouth - the danish akvavit accompanied the fresh heerings being served onboard!
