I recall Calypso when she first came to New Zealand in the 1970's as Southern Cross, along with her sister-ship Northern Star. They were the most elegant and stylish vessels of their day, especially in NZ waters. Thanks for wonderful memories of a beautiful ship.

This was one great photoshoot that day, just after this the local Princess of Vancouver, also built in 1955, passed her inbound, and I will attempt to find this neg! mrdot.
