She is on her maiden voyage and fitted with original pole mast, but excessive vibration saw this changed on her return to UK.

Built 1951 for Port Line
1972 broken up Kaohsiung arrived 19/8/1972.

Her maiden voyage was to Auckland NZ and she was the first Port Line ship to use boiler oil for her diesel machinery. In 1954 she did one trip for Brocklebanks.In 1966 she rescued 12 crew from the tuna trawler Belle of Portugal which was destroyed by fire near Balboa.
