This berth was used by Union Castle Line as there arrival terminal from South Africa. The arriving vessel being moved from berth 102 on a Saturday to the departure berth 104 in preparation for the departure to South Africa on the Friday at 1 pm.
The incoming vessel from South Africa would then arrive at berth 102 on the Monday.
So judging by the picture I should imagine it was a Sunday when berth 102 would be vacant and used by other shipping.
