Other school ships were the DUNERA, the UGANDA and the DEVONIA , I remember them quite well, they were frequent visitors for repairs at the Malta Drydocks, memories of working on them , always the acute smell of spices theoughout the ships re the asian crewmen cooking.

Anyone that is a student of shipping will know immediatly this vessel as Nevasa, and so I have been beaten to the punch! again a blast from the past! mrdot.

This is the NEVASA IMO. 5249948 this was a ship which was converted to a school ship, a new type of cruises for students.British registered crewed by British officers and asian crew.
