Description:

Built at Port Glasgow in 1957 for T&J Brocklebank, MAKRANA was here photographed in the Bristol Channel on 28 April 1969, probably off Newport, on a voyage from Glasgow to Chittagong.

On her sale to Papalios in 1971, she was initially named AEGIS GLORY, then AEGIS ETERNITY as which she suffered stranding damage off Singapore on 23.4.74 on a voyage from Bandar Abbas during which she put back to Singapore on April 27/28 and again on May 3, finally sailing on May 18th, arriving at Shanghai for breaking during June 1974.
