Hello together
I am impressed about the knowledge of you Ilhan, miraflores and Derek

I found following
While en route from Banjul, Gambia, to Las Palmas the spanish Steamship "Tiran" sank 1 mile and half off Joal, 50 miles south of Dakar on Dec. 31, 1977

I have searched through the yard lists in Miramar for
Turnu-Severin, Braila, Constanta, Galati etc with out finding a match for a Romanian build.
That does not mean to say it is not but I have failed to find a match thats all

best regards
Derek

Ship looks like Romanian built, typical is the funnel and the top of the 4 mast.

Continually struck by the waves from the shore to die, the''Titan''seems to defy time since 1978, when he was shipwrecked in Palmarin.
