Built 1942 for Port Line
She was the second of the five ship Port Napier of 1939 class and the first delivered to Port Line.
1942 in collision with Seatrain Texas at Suez.
1942 1 person killed during gunnery practice.
1947 steering disbaled and towed to Kingston,Jamaica.
1968 circa on charter to Brocklebank Line, at first with only Brocklebank Funnel then with black hull.
1970 back to Port Line but only funnel repainted for at least one voyage to NZ.
1971 broken up Shanghai arrived 10/2/1971.
