Port Line's 1942 Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson (Wallsend) built refrigerated cargo ship PORT PHILLIP is seen passing Gravesend, inbound for London's Royal Docks, early on Sunday 21st May 1967. She had sailed from Lyttelton on 10th April bound for Hull, London, Avonmouth and Cardiff.

PORT PHILLIP finally arrived at Shanghai on 31st January 1971 for breaking after suffering an engine room fire while on her last loaded voyage from Hamburg to Chittagong via Jeddah.
