Description:

Bibby Line's SHROPSHIRE, built at Glasgow in 1959, was photographed passing Hoek van Holland, outbound from Rotterdam on 10th July 1970 during a voyage from Talcahuano.

Sold in 1972 to L.P.Halcoussis & J.A.Caloghiros, she traded as ARGIRO until laid up at Eleusis on 26 October 1981, sailing at the end of 1984 as NAFTILOS for a single voyage from Alexandria for Chittagong where she arrived in January and was beached on 21st April 1985 to be broken up.
