built 1939 by St Nazaire (Penhoet), St. Nazaire / France, as PASTEUR for Cie. de Nav. Sud-Atlantique, Bordeaux; during WWII she sailed for the British and after the war for the French Government transporting troops; 1959 she became BREMEN of Norddeutscher Lloyd after major reconstruction; 1971 she was sold to International Cruises SA. (Chandris), Piraeus, becoming REGINA MAGNA; 1977 sold to Philippine owners and renamed SAUDI PHIL I (1980: SAUDI FILIPINAS I); sank 1980 when in tow;

To each their own of course Clive. For me, the NDL livery was just too severe. The white Chandris hull also made her look even more imposing in my view.

She was not broken up Wolfgang but sank 09/06/1980 in position 07°48'N-60°16'E when in tow of SUMATRAS (ITC)

Personally, I think she looked her best in NDL colours. What ever colours, she was just magnificent.
