Description:

I received this pic’s from my father whom is working offshore on gas-production platforms on the North Sea. He on his turn received them from a colleague who is also working offshore. You can see in four steps the sinking off the Mighty Servant 3, 1 mile offshore by the Angolan coast! Very dramatic pic’s I think!

If i remember well, vessel lost bouyance after a collapse of a valve but the company mange to recover after a period of six months or so. Incredible case/story read that time but am sorry cannot find anymore, maybe someone from the spotters can add anything.
