Description:
TARROS CEDAR as shown while upbound on the St.Lawrence River off Verchères on July 24, 1987 while on charter to Newfoundland Steamships (Atlantic Container Express).
She was built in 1970 as VENTO DI MAESTRALE, was renamed MERZARIO LIGURIA in 1976 (both Italian flag), became TARROS CEDAR in 1986, ZORBA EXPRESS in 1990 and finally PISHGAM in 1993 under the Iranian flag for Iran Marine Services. She is still trading as such.

She's a near sister to ASTRON both of which were built in Dutch yards but in different ones. ASTRON is a meter longer but they are very much alike in design.
