WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
A Neptun 421 standard design, this was already the third time that she was named ERATO, in spite of the suffix II. Delivered as HANS KRUGER, whose initials are still visible in the funnel markings, she was typical German tramp ship, suitable for a reasonable container load. In total she carried 12 (not all different) names, before being broken up in 2002 as SPICA at an unknown location.
Shown here outgoing Rotterdam during the mid eighties
PS: I promised Mike Griffiths to post my version when he posted his shot. Very unfortunately he is no longer with us to see it.
