The 1963 Lithgows, Port Glasgow, built ADVOCATE, owned by Hain-Nourse and on time charter to Harrison Line, is seen passing Portishead outbound from Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 15th April 1972 during a voyage from Tanga via Walvis Bay to Avonmouth and Liverpool.
