Vessel broke down with main engine problems offshore Nouakchott, Mauritania, and was subsequently taken in tow by the AHTS 'Pacific Porpoise' (IMO 9503421, and which attended the casualty from Dakar, Senegal).
It seems the casualty was handed over to local Boluda owned tugs, while approaching the South of Gran Canaria, which brought her to this berth.
The Pacific Porpoise then diverted to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

I cannot find any specific site standards for 'Casualties', but if you read my text, I state that the ship had a major engine breakdown.
Previously, I have placed Atlantic 'engine breakdowns' in Casualties; especially with Las Palmas as a port of refuge, as per this case with 'Geeske'.
So, are you happy to include engine casualties as 'Casualties'? I think we should. ;-)
Kind regards, Rick

Yes engine breakdowns belong as well in the Casualties Category, but you do not see them on the foto. So it is placed there correct.
And a longer lay up normally ist because of some trouble, which could a casualty, but as well a legal or financial reason.
