Description:
Blue Funnel Line's SARPEDON, photographed by the late Dick Parsons discharging at Avonmouth, was the former DENBIGHSHIRE, built at Amsterdam for Glen & Shire Lines in 1939.
She became SARPEDON only in 1968 and arrived at Kaohsiung on 11.8.69 to be scrapped. Her last voyage to the Far East had commenced at Glasgow on 24.5.69
