Dione, ex Merchant Royal - Greek shipowners Lykiardopulo and Company established a London subsidiary, which became Drake Shipping Company, in 1936. The company owned tankers and tramps, the largest tramp being the Merchant Royal of 12,500 tons dwt, completed by Blythswood in 1957. In 1963 she was transferred to her owners Greek flag company and renamed Dione. She is seen as such berthing at Madras.
