The conversion to a yacht at Turquoise never happened. There were so many challenges involved that the client opted to build a completely new yacht in almost the same style. This was just delivered last year as BLUE II (IMO 9910868). The superstructure of KURT BURKOWITZ can be seen on this photo of Turquoise's hull yard at Kocaeli. Currently under tow of WORLD TUG I (from Las Palmas? Ceuta?) to Izmit for conversion to yacht.
