Excellent series of photos. Thanks for sharing.

I cannot figure out how the slipway works at shipyards like Peters. The new build rests on angled support beams but they cannot be angled from the beginning of construction. How do they get the ship onto those beams? How do they elevate the inboard side of those beams to slide the new build into the water?
