I used to survey her when she was in Houston after the conversion back in the 90s. I believe that she is either gone or scheduled to be. Beautiful ship. Built for and originally owned by Onassis. Fancy accommodations forward.

Is this the same tanker that later became the USNS Mount Washington?

I'm not sure. But according to the sites where I get most of my info. (MARBASE.COM and MIRIMAR.COM) she's still around. Being owned by Marad she is most likely laid up in Beaumont, Virginia or San Francisco rusting away and awaiting to be scrapped.
