Description:
Downstream river Weser near Bremerhaven in August 1997. One of my older photos made from a tour boat. Built in 1979 as NADEZHDA OBUKHOVA by Warnowwerft, Warnemünde. She now trades as MSC SUMATRA.

However she has run foul of the MSA because of her poor condition. She has extensive corrosion and reports are that both her and the MSC Federica have been ordered off the New Zealand coast.
