Description:
The Unimar (Piraeus) managed, St.Vincent flagged, COMET is thought to have been photographed at Rotterdam in July 1994 shortly before sale to Syrian owners. Can anyone confirm?
Built in Finland as ILMENLES for the USSR in 1963, she had been sold in 1993 and renamed COMET, only to be sold to Syria a year later and renamed ALI M. as which she arrived at Alang on 15.4.03 to be broken up.
