during one of five visits made 1960-62.

She visited Bluff a number of times
1938,1941,1945,1946,1947;twice,1952;twice,1956,1960;twice,1961 and 1962;twice.

Built 1937
11-15/8/1942 Operation Pedestal, convoy to Malta.
Night of 12-13th torpedoed by E-Boat off Tunisia, but managed to reach Malta arriving 15th.
Bow badly damaged, repaired in South America with bow cut away at 45 degree angle, not fully repaired until late 1940's.
1963 sold for scrapping renamed Enea for voyage.
arrived Osaka 15/10/1963.

She made a few trips, I will see if I can date this

The caption on the above photo says it was taken in Bluff, I wonder if it was taken in 1960. I sailed on the Brisbane Star in 1960, each occasion we called at Bluff. The docks look a little different but, Fore Street looks the same.
