7,952 gt, built 1966, Greenock Dockyard as CLAN ROSS for Houston Line (Clan Line Steamers).
1976 Transferred to Union Castle Mail S.S. Co. Ltd. renamed KINPURNIE CASTLE.
1979 Renamed KINPURNIE UNIVERSAL, presumably for operation by Universal Reefers pool.
1982 Sold to Greek interests and renamed SYROS REEFER.
7/1984 Reportedly scrapped Bangladesh, soon after this photo was taken.
