Hi Clive and Ralph,
on the 27th.Feb.2011 when the photograph was taken,a lot of ships were used to evacuate refugees from Libya, from high speed catamarans to ferries and even tugs and fishing boats so yes the SNAV TOSCANA was fulfilling that humanitarian role at that time.
regards,
Emmanuel.

Intriguing to see that there should be so many people on her decks in what appear to be 'high-visibility' jackets.

Agree Clive, it's very flattering and even makes this squarish tub look good!
I wonder what she was doing in Malta? Maybe evacuating civilians from Libya?
Emmanuel: could you be so kind as to fix the name to SNAV TOSCANA, please? Thanks!

Brgds.
Ralph
