Indeed, an interesting photo - thanks for uploading.

Agree with Paul Wille - this is the former CHR SASS completed in January 1931 by Burmeister & Wain, Copenhagen - but with a poop differently looking than the one on Chr. Sass.

Perhaps, not a big deal, but fair to say - Chr. Sass was a ship of D/S Myren, Copenhagen. I understand, A/S D/S Holm & Wonsild, in those days, more as a shipbroker / charter company, specialists in the transport of timber and with their own smaller fleet. They were, however, a major force in the creation od D/S Myren and Holm & Wonsild remained strongly affiliated with D/S Myren, until that company winded up in 1973.

Best regards

Identified,I did some research work today.
Completed as CHR SASS in January 1931 by Burmeister & Wain,Copenhagen as Yard No.579 for AS/DS Holm & Wonsild,Kobenhavn.
3991 gross tons.
Two B&W 6 cyl oil engines of 2400bhp.
In 1941 she was seized by Uruguay at Montevideo and sailed under that flag as COLONIA until 1946 when she was returned to Denmark en traded her original name CHR SASS.
In 1959 she was sold to M.A.Karageorgis of Greece and renamed TAXIARCHIS.
Finally arriving at Split 1.7.1967 to be broken up.
