A US-flag laker on the St.Lawrence Rive is a rare occurence. This one had never been east of the Welland Canal in her 38-year career except for one trip to Hamilton and had never taken a pilot before. I suspect her crew must have been delighted at the change of scenery!
She is expected to do 3 more trips with taconite from Duluth to Québec City this season.
