She was a long way off being a candidate for preservation when the photo was taken, being only eight years old and according to the history provided by Jan, almost thirty years away from the breakers yard. I've another tug photo taken shortly after this one, Bugsier 17 as I recall, I'll post that later.

I agree Tony: Don't we just love these traditional tugs, absolute gems to be sure. I'd have thought this one was worthy of preservation.Sad to know she's gone for razor blades.

Great looking tug, very traditional, and I love all that primer she'll look a treat when the finish coat go's on.
