That's exactly how ships are in Ship Simulator game. Very disturbing, if you ask me. :P

On this photo, the ship appears to have in the longitudinal-plan a "banana" form; the bow & stern are to the 'right side' while amidships are to the 'left side'.

Interesting. Normally from the spot on such distance from the ship the front of the superstructure won't be that much visible.
