VFM Alita did not sink until 22nd Jan 2016. The photo in question was taken on Jan 11th.

This vessel is a Mehrzweckfrachter, multi-purpose general cargo ship, not a container ship. Many vessels of this type were emerging from German and Dutch yards in the 1980s

Interesting looking freighter. Some elements in her design I mostly see on mid-90s built ones.
