Few may know about that GOTLAND was prepared and equipped for being chartered out for winter cruises in the Caribbean (a outdoor swimming pool aft etc.) - but not yet as far as I know she has ever entered the Caribbean - but those were the thoughts in the days of the first heavy years of the oil crisis in the 1970's. The same plans were for the Danish built DANA REGINA(1974, Ålborg) for DFDS.
