Certainly a ship from what would have seemed like another age - the Jazz Age of the 1920s. Her maiden voyage was at the end of 1928, so she ought to be in the pre-1950s category really.

She certainly was a grand old lady, with a very successful long career. However, she must have been a bit of a relic, even in the early 70s!
