I was 11 Years old at the time. I took photo's on my little Kodak Instamatic. My folks only allowed me black and white film.
Got them somewhere, but never mind.
Never thought I would see a Color photo of this poor ship having really bad luck when her Engine failed leaving the port of East London. From what I can remember she was carrying a load of Granite at the time.
