'Traumschiff' is a very popular series in German TV since some decades. There were a few other cruise liners in task for the 'Dreamship' since than.

Hadn't noticed before that Deilmann, too, is now applying graffiti to their ships, with "Das Traum Schiff" (The Dream Ship) on the funnel. A bit hyperbolic, maybe? Or is it that good?

Yes Samson46, London Gateway is going to be a very difficult place for photography, more's the pity. Only chances for closer shots will be off of Canvey Island if it's a cloudy day and the light is then not against you.

I think you will find the Cliffe marshes somewhat more challenging than where you were today. It's very rough and/or muddy,and a very long way from civilisation

Well worth the effort Doug, that's a lovely scene. Stupidly, I've only ever ventured down there in the depths of winter, but it is a good spot as you say.

Gentlemen,yes its a glorious place on a warm sunny day,
but can be really bleak in winter.Have to get into training
though with the pushbike,London Gateway's opening soon.

Went there once. A nice walk on a warm, sunny day: a miserable, god-forsaken place on a cold, wet or windy one.
