That's the reason why normal reefers are stowed with doors to the fwd but that means also that they have to be turned in the terminal,,that cost money and therefore most probably it,s better to go the risk that the machinery gets damaged,,alfter all the get wet again and again and they are usually "tough" built,,but starting rusting much quicker whnt often t spray is involved

Interesting to see the reefers in the forward stack. No doubt empty, but even so it's not ideal as the machinery invariably doesn't do well when exposed to salt spray and the like,
