More to the point than why she has one funnel or two is the question of why she is called "Britannia" in the first place. That is a name that has great historical resonance for Cunard. P&O had plenty of historic names of their own that could have been chosen.

Looking at this and graphics appearing online, it would appear Carnival has at long last stopped pretending the modern day brand of "P&O" is any relation to the real P&O, as it did previously by carrying on with the old company livery.
All this thing needs now is the hideous hull graffiti to set it off and the job is done.

Damien I am totally aware of that but it still doesn't give a reason as to why they decided to add two funnels for Britannia even where I work (Carnival Port Ops ) I have not been fully told why!
And BTW the Regal Princess and Royal Princess ARE identical sisters.

Used to create the impression that they sail faster......and prestige....is one of the funnels a dummy ?

Canberra97,
The Royal and Regal are non-identical sisters through the class therefore do not have to fashion two funnels or vice versa for Britannia. It's they same with Azura or Caribbean Princess which are in the same class as Crown, Emerald or Ruby Princess however companies can chose to modify or change the design of the class to fit their requirements or demands
Best Regards,
Damien

Does anyone know why the Britannia has two funnels where as the Royal and Regal Princess considering they are sisters only has the one funnel?

They look...well...different. I guess it's the question of getting used to them.
