Description:
On Sun 26th March 2006 the Royal Navy amphibious assault ship HMS Ocean paid a visit into the Firth of Forth, anchoring just of the coast of Dalgety Bay while awaiting clearance for entry into Rosyth Naval Base. Using it's compliment of Mk5 Landing Craft Vehicle & Personnel (LCVP) vessels to ferry it's troops ashore for leave. In this illustration, Craft No: N2 unloads it's consignment of troops at Hawes Pier in South Queensferry at 14:33.
