I think this was the subject of Blue Funnel's claim that she carried two living cargoes, neither of which was aware of the other - passengers and sheep.

Did they combine passenger and cargo business onboard such ships in the purpose to get priority to the busy harbours? I believe I have read that some place long time ago.

She was in fact a very special Liner! Many Australians have fond memories her, in the 70s and 80s many people would use the Centaur out of Singapore to Fremantle after travelling from UK by land for the great traditional "Overseas experience". Now they use a 747 or A380! Those were the days!

There is absolutely NO WAY that this is a cruise ship - unless half of the cabins are in the holds!

With slightly different livery & rust, her design kinda shows here she was a somewhat ugly ship compared to shots of her as snow-white with blue funnel.
