I suppose she was built in Ilyichevsk (Ilichevsk) or Kherson, Ukraine, USSR or Baku, Azerbaijan, USSR as a passenger vessel. Project 1430. 160 vessels were built from 1969 up to 1984.

Suspect thais is the boat that belongs to the Hotel Pestana Equador at Ilhéu das Rolas, about 40 miles from São Tomé.
