A belated many thanks to coochie for posting this nice photo of a fine ferry!
I remember well this old lady....her main deck where vehicles and other cargos are stowed.
On 2nd deck, 1st class passenger area sitting on a very comfortable individual couch and a restaurant on the forward area just below the bridge.
Bridge deck, economy passenger area; seats were like in an airport waiting area but also comfortable enough.
Ships crew at that time were demonstrating safety measures just like in a passenger aircraft before departing from port.
Thanks again coochie for bringing back these old memories!

Hi coochie!
it is about ship's description or location.
the picture shows the ship was definitely in Banago Port in Bacolod City, it is privately owned by Negros Navigation.
She's docked in east wharf, her permanent home where she shared also with MV "DON VICENTE", also another ferry plying Iloilo and Bacolod.....on the opposite side of the wharf was the ferry terminal plying Bacolod and Manila for larger ferries.
Cheers!

Wow, it brought me back to my chilhood days!
We lived in Bacolod and my father would often took me for a trip to Iloilo to visit our relatives there.
This ship was the workhorse of Negros Navigation between these two cities back then. Her schedule was to depart from Bacolod every morning at 7am, sailing time to Iloilo is around 2 hours. Back to Bacolod again in afternoon at 3pm from Iloilo.....wheew she's small and tend to roll on slight swell.
Those years, my grandfather was a prominent chandler for Negros Navigation vessels. I was able to work in his shop and delivered meats and poultry also to this ship several times!
When I entered the maritime school, my first OJT was also onboard this Princess of Negros...what a constant riding with this little jewel of Panay and Negros islands!
