"Taken from Greek mythology their wondrous names live on" the blue funnel men had some pretty good nick-names for them

I have no idea Mr Dot, its a weird name. I would probably pronounce it using three syllabels yury-loke-us. I researched its meaning just now and found its comes from Greek mythology, Eurylochus, or Eurýlokhos (Εὐρύλοχος) appears in Homer's Odyssey as second-in-command of Odysseus' ship during the return to Ithaca after the Trojan War. He was also a relative of Odysseus through marriage. You literature wizards are more likely to be far ahead of me in that respect, my level only got as far as Biggles and Dan Dare lolol

Imagine the trouble some of the old time seamen must have had spelling and pronouncing some of the classic ships nomenclature! mrdot.
