@lappino. Vlad, I understand that you feel privileged to be able to follow the construction of the 20 triple-E ships in Korea.

Although I am privileged to live in a port city, as Aarhus, only a few hundred meters from the quayside where I week after week can follow call of these giant ships - and of course all the other ships calling at Port of Aarhus.

Impressive history: A. P. Moller Maersk Triple E vessels are impressive, but the same applies to the company's history.

1886: Captain Peter Maersk Moller buys his first steam ship, the British-built SS Laura

1904 The beginnings of the A. P. Moller-Maersk Group were the shipping company Dampskibsselskabet Svendborg, founded by Captain Peter Maersk Moller and his son Arnold Peter Moller.

Since then, the shipping company has continued to grow and is now the world's largest container shipping company with more than 300 ships. It is said to A. P. Moller Maersk alone sailing with 15% of the world's cargo on the oceans.

Cheers
Allan

@Roberto: You are curious? :-)

No, the Madison Maersk did not hit the mark. Due to the compression, using a zoom lens, in this case 200mm, it seems as if the marking is very close to the ship, but there are in fact plenty of distance to the marking. Sorry but no drama here, clean routine!

Cheers
Allan

Majestic picture of a majestic vessel. I consider myself very lucky for being able to see all 20 of Triple E's, but I still enjoy looking at great pics of them here on the site - and this is one of those pics... Thanks for sharing!

Hi David,
The sunlight yesterday evening just before sunset was fantastic. At the same time, there was great activity with in - and outbound traffic.
Cheers

Excellent series of shots of a great ship, Allan. she's the only triple-E I spotted so far - incidentally at Aarhus port.
