Description:
Passing Battery Point early on the fine morning of 17th June 1965 was New Zealand Shipping Company's HURUNUI, inbound for Avonmouth from Bluff via Hull and London.
Built in 1948 by Vickers Armstrong at Newcastle, HURUNUI was soon to be repainted in Federal colours and later, not long before her sale to South Korean breakers, given the new P&O General Cargo Division funnel colours.
HURUNUI finally arrived at Pusan on 8th September 1973 for breaking.
