Bock, Godeffroy & Co were owners of the Deutsche Levante Linie from 1942 until 1956, when they were in turn taken over by the Oetker (Hamburg-Süd) group. In 1967 the DLL funnel mark started to disappear in favour of the Hamburg-Süd white with red top.
