On March 21 at dawn, with the hull being stabilized and the weather favourable, the wreck of the "Britannica Hav" was finally towed by the "Abeille Liberté" which had connected a towing wire at the bow. The installation of the trailer was a tricky operation on the bottom of the wreck which had a negative list and was threatened to sink any moment. But at the beginning of the afternoon, the convoy started to move at very low speed towards Le Havre, where it was expected to arrive on March 22 around 2 p.m. if everything went well. The salvage operation promises to be complex,, but the goal was to prevent the ship from sinking. Meanwhile, the tug "Kermor", based in Caen, was tasked to recover the four hatches which were located a hundred kilometers from the coast.( source: Vesseltracker.com)
