Ship is as per RUSSIAN MARITIME REGISTER OF SHIPPING declared as "fish carrier" with a "Refrigerating Plant". Some work must be done with the fish before it is prepared for refrigerating. So accommodation is necessary for fish workers onboard. More: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fish_processing Regards Peter

Well, I don't know the size of the engine casing which makes a part of the accommodation. However, for a vessel named after the main Soviet leader (her name means "Memory of Ilya's son", meaning specifically Lenin), I would expect that, beside the deck and machinery departments, there will also be the political department, and a big one at that... :)

Cheers

Is it just me...or did these ships always seem to have a massive amount of accommodation for their overall size?....What size crew did they carry? Looks enough there for 50-Plus!
