Hi Indrid Cold!
Three sleepless nights are definitely uncomfortable. The first question I asked myself as a former seaman when reading your comment is how the crew of the ship can withstand the alleged noise pollution on board for years.
Brgds,
Stefan

At 9 Feb 2021, this ship was emitting noise pollution (low frequency noise) in the region of Passage West, Cork (Ireland) for 3 days, and kept almost an entire town awake for several nights. Complaints directed towards the owner Arklow Shipping were ignored and laughed away. An official complaint was directed towards the Deputy Harbour Master & Operations manager at the Port of Cork and the Environmental Protection Agency.

18-February 2018.
Disabled cargo ship taken in tow.
The "Arklow Rival", with a cargo of cement on board, was damaged on Feb 18, 2018, around 10:30 a.m. 50 km north of Roscof, in the English Channel Channel. The ship left Lisbon on Feb 15 and was expected in the port of Sunderland on Feb 20. The Irish shipowner Arklow Shipping first chose to divert one of its sister ships, the "Arklow Rainbow", which was sailing in the opposite direction to Warrenpoint in order to tow the troubled ship. At the same time, the emergenvy tug "Abeille Bourbon", based in Brest, was sent by the French authorities. After unsuccessful towing operations between the freighters, a British tug based in Fowley, the "Cannis" (IMO: 8102141), was called in by the shipowner in the middle of the afternoon, being scheduled to arrive at midnight. In the morning of Feb 9 the "Cannis" was pulling the "Arklow Rival" with a speed of three knots towards Fowey.( source: Vesseltracker.)
